Refund Policy

Effective date: 28 September 2025

This policy explains how monthly billing, cancellations and refunds work for lessons with Perfect Score Tutor (“we”, “us”). It applies to all in-person and online sessions.

1) How the monthly subscription works

  • Tuition is sold as a monthly subscription paid in advance on your billing date (the date you first subscribe).

  • Your plan includes the agreed number of lessons per week for the month (normally counted as 4 weeks).

  • The subscription auto-renews each month until you cancel (Section 4).

2) Cancelling or rescheduling a booked lesson

  • 48 hours (2 days) or more before the start time:
    free reschedule (subject to availability) or a lesson credit to use within the current paid month.

  • Less than 48 hours before the start time (including same-day and no-shows):
    lesson is charged in full and no credit/refund is due.

  • To cancel or reschedule, email perfectscoret@gmail.com. The timestamp of your email determines the notice period.

3) Lesson credits / make-ups

  • Credits from timely cancellations (48+ hours) should be used within the same billing month where possible.

  • If a make-up cannot be arranged that month, we may at our discretion allow one rollover credit into the next month; any unused rollover expires after 1 month.

4) Cancelling the subscription (stopping future payments)

  • You can cancel any time. When you cancel, future billing stops from the next renewal.

  • To avoid being charged again, cancel before your next billing date (we recommend at least 24 hours before).

  • Cancelling the subscription does not automatically refund the current month. Any remaining booked lessons follow Section 2.

5) Refunds

  • We do not refund partial months or lessons cancelled inside 48 hours.

  • If we cancel a lesson and cannot offer a reasonable make-up time, we will credit or refund that lesson.

  • New online purchases may have a 14-day cooling-off period under UK law. If you ask us to start lessons during that period, you agree we may deduct the value of any lessons already delivered before issuing a refund.

6) No pausing

  • We do not offer subscription pauses. If you need a break, please cancel before your next billing date and re-subscribe when ready. Any credits follow Section 3.

7) Lateness & no-shows

  • If a student is 15+ minutes late or does not attend, the session counts as delivered and is charged in full.

  • Sessions finish at the scheduled time.

8) Technical issues (online lessons)

  • If technical issues on our side prevent teaching, we will rebook or credit/refund that lesson.

  • If issues are on the student’s side, we’ll try to help briefly; any time lost may not be made up or refunded.

9) Changes & price updates

  • We may update prices or terms with at least 30 days’ notice by email and/or a notice on the site. Continuing the subscription after the notice period means you accept the change.

10) How to contact us / request a refund

  • student name

  • booking date/time(s)

  • your request (cancel, reschedule, or refund)

We aim to reply within 2 business days.
